What are game threads?

Short answer

A chat thread for one game, open to anyone signed in, with the score on top. Playbooki opens them for selected games. A thread closes a few hours after the game ends.

Where to find them

Open Messages. Game threads are at the top of the list, each with its score. A thread appears before the game and stays until some hours after it.

Who can take part

Anyone signed in to Playbooki. You do not need a membership. Bookis have the green verified mark next to their name.

The score

The score, the period and the clock on top of a thread come from a public sports feed. They can be late, wrong or missing, and they are not official. Do not rely on them for a bet or any other decision.

Limits

  • Threads start in slow mode: one message every few seconds for each person.
  • An account cannot post links in a game thread on its first day.
  • A thread closes to new messages 3 hours after the game ends. It can still be read for a while.

The same rules apply as everywhere on Playbooki: see What are the rules in chat, and how do I report a message?.
