When and how are referral earnings paid?

Short answer

Each amount you earn is pending for 30 days after the payment it comes from, and is then available. Available earnings are paid out in cash through Stripe, once a month, when they reach the minimum.

Pending, then available

Each amount is pending for 30 days after the subscriber’s payment. After that it is available. Your Referrals page shows both.

Getting paid

  • You can be paid once per calendar month, when your available earnings total at least $25.
  • Payouts are in cash, through Stripe, to an account that you connect and that passes Stripe’s identity checks.
  • Payouts are available only in the countries where Stripe supports them for Playbooki.
  • A payment processing fee is deducted from each payout. It is shown before you confirm.
  • We may ask for tax information before paying you, and you are responsible for your own taxes.

Earnings are not a deposit or a stored balance. They earn no interest, and they cannot be transferred or spent on Playbooki.

Refunds and disputes

If a subscriber’s payment is refunded, disputed or reversed, what you earned from it is cancelled. If it had already been paid to you, it is deducted from your other earnings, now or later.

The full rules are in section 4.6 of the Terms of Service.
