How do I get paid on Playbooki?

Short answer

Bookis are paid through Stripe. You connect a Stripe account once, and from then on your share of each payment is sent to it automatically and paid out to your bank account. Payouts are available to Bookis in Canada and the United States.

Connect your payout account

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Under Earnings & payouts, choose Payout method.
  3. Choose Connect Stripe Account and follow Stripe’s steps. Stripe asks for your identity, tax and bank details; Playbooki does not store them.

Do this before you start selling. Your share of each payment is sent to your Stripe account at the moment the payment is made, so the account needs to be connected first.

Where it is available

Payouts are available to Bookis in Canada and the United States. Your profile country must be one of them for the Stripe option to appear.

What happens with each payment

  1. A subscriber pays by card.
  2. Your share is transferred to your connected Stripe account.
  3. Stripe pays it out to your bank account.
